The Center was established at the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) in May 1990 under an initial grant received from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI). Since that time our list of sponsoring organizations has grown to include six more leaders in the field of cold-formed steel.
